  • Set timed scans

Cons

  • Terrible design

Who Is On My WiFi scans your wireless network to see who is connected to your router. This is a common issue that many people face. Other people will latch onto your router and steal your Internet, reducing your speed and using up your resources. This software will show you if anyone is on your network and there are other handy features that will make this program even more useful.

Scanning

Who Is On My WiFi has one primary feature and that's to scan your network for connections. Your router likely has several people connected to it and that's fine. The problem is that neighbors or other nearby people might also be connecting to your Internet. You won't know about it until you scan the network.

This will easily show you everyone who is connected to your router. You can also change each person from known or unknown so that you can easily weed out if it's only a family member or an outside entity using the Internet. You'll also see what type of device the person is using. Scanning is quickly and typically only takes a few seconds.

Timed Scanning

The other feature you get is timed scanning. You can choose to have the program scan your network every two to 10 minutes. While you may not need the scanning to be this frequent, this ensures that you'll immediately know if someone new is trying to connect to your router. This allows you to change the password or to disconnect the other person to preserve your router's resources.

Installation

This is a very light program that installs easily and quickly. The wizard goes right through the installation and the software should be ready in just a minute or two. All it takes is a few mouse clicks and your program will be ready to scan the network.

Design

The design is terrible. There's no other word for it. The colors are difficult to look at because there's dark blue, white, gray and bright yellow all next to each other and it will hurt your eyes. This program works on Windows 2000 and up and it looks like it was made in that era.

It's not so bad that the program is garbage. It's useful function still makes it a good program. It's just a shame that the design is so outdated.

Interface

Much like the design, the interface doesn't look good but it's easy to use for the most part. Since there are only a few functions, you shouldn't have to dive too deep into the program. Click the "Scan" button when you want to scan and change users between known or unknown with the text boxes.

There aren't any help files unfortunately, which is a shame, but you probably won't need them. The buttons are right there for you and you can easily find them.
